PahuPahu who?

Ahoy and let us introduce ourselves!

PahuPahu is an independent flash game development team consisting of two people located in Hamburg, Germany. Want to contact us? Send a mail to info[at]pahupahu.eu!

We are:

Olga "Asu" Andriyenko, an "I'm kinda famous in Germany!!"-illustrator and manga artist, kitsch blogger and Disney Princess. Being 23 years old she already worked for almost half of her life and did some awesome stuff for big publishing houses, text marker brands, video games and animation films. Visit her portfolio here!

Jan-Erik "Lyc" Andersen, wannabe rockstar and co-founder of gamersunity.de (yeah, one of all those gaming networks), had enough of only writing about games. And so he decided to create them! Despite of his lack of logical comprehension he started to mess around with ActionScript 3.0.

Together we like going to rock concerts, playing video games, watching movies and eating tasty stuff. Furthermore we love everything loud, colorful and hilarious, so we decided to combine it in form of flash games. Asu is drawing everything you'll see, while Lyc is swearing about bugs and not understanding ActionScript. Then both start grunting into a cheap headset mic to make game sounds and special effects. Well, yeah... this pretty much sums it up.

Our business plan is simple:
1) make flash games
2) ...
3) PROFIT!

So follow our blog and watch us become rich and famous.

  23. Oh btw.: This sun is the holy reincanation of Monday 6 o´clock a.m. .
After your mangas(have still the satbilo text marker^^) and I hope we soon will be able to buy the voodoo-lesbian stuff you draw, the epicness continues! I´m think you and Eric are"The Harts"(in Germany the show is named: Hart, aber herzlich) of independent fun working.

But important question: would you prefer us to write english(because it´s a .eu-blog) does it matter anyway whether I write english oder in deutsch, Hauptsache I will not change the languages ganz überraschender Weise at the middle of nowhere? XD

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Hardin111: You can write the language you like, but we will always respond in English (at least we try XD). We hope it will not end like HG:L.... wich would mean we don't earn anything with the stuff and end up on the street with one stupid laptop and without electricity. Would be sad. U__U

  25. Noa.... I did a bit of foreseeing and I saw a greate future full of greed, welth and richness till the end of epicness and end beyond. If this will not come true, than allways remember to burn the witch for this lie!^^

  26. Bazonga Quake,
Interesting game, but the girl needs to have a little more "bounce" in her step to give her a fighting chance.
Maybe version II will offer her some powerups and the ability to squash the evil guys by jumping on their heads instead of only being able to slide under them.
Cool concept and pretty much "out there".
To make it all gender equal the next game should be male dominated with the "Johnson" or "lunch box" featured as the main attraction.
    think about it.

  27. The Undead Pirate adventure- on the surface and initially I was immediately sucked in- but after 20 minutes of steadfast commitment, I realized there were serious elements missing design and fun. I think the zaniness of the story, art and characters is really fun, and the backstory as well. But this isnt enough to make it a killer game, because the gameplay needs this too- the point click is so tedious (mainly because of the slow pacing) and the exploratory story is so lacking in intuitveness (a rope from a doorbell pulls the harpon out? bit weak). Again, I lovethe zany, but the context still needs to bring the player through the whole story, instead of simply providing a walkthrough for things that don't make sense.

Keep it up- I see lots of promise here.
